Publish developer-focused articles to Dev.to.

Getting Your API Key

1. Go to dev.to → Settings → Extensions
2. Scroll to DEV Community API Keys
3. Enter a description (e.g., "RankHiker") and click Generate API Key
4. Copy the key

Setup in RankHiker

1. Go to Platforms → + Add Platform → Dev.to
2. Enter:

- API Key — The key from step above

1. Click Test Connection then Add Platform

How It Works

• Articles are published as drafts by default
• Content is sent in Markdown format (Dev.to's native format)
• Tags are included (Dev.to allows up to 4 tags per article)
• Cover images are supported

Tips

• Dev.to has a character limit on article titles (max 128 characters)
• Use relevant tags for better discoverability
• Dev.to articles support code blocks with syntax highlighting
